Yayasan 1Malaysia condemns the arson attacks upon a couple of churches in the Kuala Lumpur-Petaling-Jaya area last night. These are morally reprehensible, despicable acts.

The Qur’an explicitly urges people to protect all places of worship. No sane Muslim would indulge in acts that clearly violate the core teachings of the religion.

Yayasan 1Malaysia appeals to the authorities to apprehend the culprits and to take stern action against them in accordance with the law.
