INTERNATIONAL AID CONVOY TO BREAK THE GAZA BLOCKAGE

CIRCULAR

An international aid convoy of 300 vehicles is attempting to break the Israeli imposed blockade of the
Gaza strip in Palestine this December.

This convoy is being organized by the London based group, Viva Palestina.
A Malaysian NGO, the Perdana Global Peace Organisation ( PGPO), is joining the convoy in Damascus,
Syria on the 19th of December. The convoy will drive through Amman in Jordan to Egypt and plans to
reach the Rafah/Gaza crossing on the 26th of December 2009. It hopes to stay in Gaza for three days
during which time it will deliver various forms of aid to the 1.3 million besieged and beleaguered people
of Gaza.

The International Movement for a Just World (JUST), which has been deeply committed to the
Palestinian cause since its inception in 1992, is in full support of the international aid convoy to Gaza.
JUST is of the view that this international effort to challenge a gross injustice could well become a
turning point in the 61 year-old Palestinian quest for human rights and human dignity. It is a noble
struggle that has the sympathy and support of justice-loving people everywhere. Peaceful mobilization
of global public opinion of this sort is the most effective way of advancing the Palestinian cause.
JUST urges its members and friends to support the convoy in whatever way they can. Please get in
touch with Dr. Zulaiha Ismail( PGPO) 019-384-3913 or visit www.vivapalestina.org for more
information.

Just members and friends who would like to make a donation to the Convoy are advised to write
out their cheques to International Movement for a Just World. The cheques can be sent to JUST
c/o P.O. Box 288, Jalan Sultan, 46730 Petaling Jaya, Selangor. All cheques received will be
transmitted to the Perdana Global Peace Organization (PGPO). Please write Perdana Global
Peace Organization on the back of the cheque for our reference.

In Solidarity,
Chandra Muzaffar
